Lights on the Exchange: Winnipeg’s Newest Winter Arts Festival
The Exchange District BIZ, in partnership with Artspace, has launched its inaugural light-based festival looking to brighten our dark winter months.
“Lights on the Exchange” tasks multi-media artists with illuminating heritage storefronts, rooftops and alleyways with fresh, contemporary installations and projections.
New works of art will be released on March 3rd, featuring large-scale lanterns and sculptural light boxes, with more expected to be added in subsequent years.
