Celebrating the Completion of the 201 Courtyard

What better way to support the revitalization of downtown Winnipeg than to invest in the community?

The new 201 Portage Courtyard is now complete, providing a gathering space for you and the surrounding community to gather, network, have lunch – and get your daily dose of Vitamin D, all in the heart of downtown Winnipeg.

The new 201 Courtyard features a public seating area, 17 full-size trees and over 100 shrubs, fresh green turf, and a state-of-the-art architectural glass walkway. A new community stage has also been installed, which will host live music and other exciting events in 2023 – and the years to come.

“People who come to work here need the full experience,” says Rosanne Hill Blaisdell, President and CEO of Harvard Developments. “Coming to work is a big part of their day, and we want to ensure they have access to a number of different amenities when they’re here.”

“Every dollar invested in downtown Winnipeg contributes not only to recovery of the area but helps move downtown forward,” says Kate Fenske, CEO of Downtown Winnipeg Biz. “It also shows that [organizations] like Harvard Developments are optimistic. They see value in investing in our downtown.”

We look forward to sharing the new space with all of you to its fullest extent in the new year. The arrival of spring will bring additional landscaping, seasonal flowers, and warm weather, allowing us to host events, concerts, and the downtown community.
